In 2024, I filmed part of the Blauwe Zand Huiskamer Festival, a neighborhood event where visitors move between three different living rooms, meet their neighbors, and enjoy concerts by local musicians. I noticed that their graphic design didn’t reflect the warmth of the concept, so I suggested they apply for a bit more subsidy the following year so I could redesign it.  For the new design, I drew inspiration from the neighborhood itself, illustrating the iconic orange brick and green houses, and lots of blue grain to reflect the name, Blue Sand in English. Below is the festival’s graphic design from the year before.
