I directed, designed, and animated this entire video. The video shows a lifetime passing in a brief moment. Clocks spin, seasons shift, and we see familiar people and events repeating. As the viewer looks at the clouds, they see a light that symbolizes death. In the end, different moments and characters come together to form the viewer's face, highlighting our interconnectedness.  This video has played at both the Kaboom Animation Festival and on Lowlands TV. I want to release a full project rundown on this eventually but for now heres a fun experiment that came out of experimenting for this video.

Leiden Film Festival wanted to use existing footage from their short films to create animated posters. I designed this layout to highlight certain films, and, as a playful experiment, I left the original audio from all the videos playing simultaneously. Strangely enough, it kind of worked. I asked them what they thought, and true to the spirit of an experimental film festival, they loved it, so we went with it. Here’s 3 of the posters back to back.

Some album announcements and visualizers I’ve done for Weval. I work with them pretty closely and love getting weird and creative with them!

I’ve always loved collage and multimedia so this piece was a great opportunity to experiment with that.  I wanted to keep this piece simple and playful as I felt that is part of the message that Ira Glass wants to get across in this quote is: Don’t take yourself so seriously that it prevents you from creating. I also hoped that by forcing myself to listen to this quote over and over, it would get into my subconcious and help me through the phase of being disappointed by my work. I still think my work falls short of where I want it to be but Ira Glass says that means I have good taste.
