I’ve always loved collage and multimedia so this piece was a great opportunity to experiment with that.  I wanted to keep this piece simple and playful as I felt that is part of the message that Ira Glass wants to get across in this quote is: Don’t take yourself so seriously that it prevents you from creating. I also hoped that by forcing myself to listen to this quote over and over, it would get into my subconcious and help me through the phase of being disappointed by my work. I still think my work falls short of where I want it to be but Ira Glass says that means I have good taste.
