This July I spent some time exploring sculpture again for the first time since college.  Some friends of mine were programming a stage at a small festival and it was all swamp themed.  I’d been interested in puppetry and decided this was a great excuse.   I went to Appeldorn and bought a ton of bamboo and got to building.  In my free time over the next month, I built a 3-4 meter frame for a frog which could be controlled with 3 people.  I made the eyes from paper mache and the skin from hand dyed fabrics.  By this time, the project had grown and we ended up having a live band and performances 3 nights in a row with a couple hundred people at each one.
